Small Packages, Big Pay Offs

Weaving: we picture looms filling our dining rooms, and long lengths of cloth coming off the beams. Those are amazing and wonderful visions, but I want to introduce you to the "motif" - made of weaving and creating finished pieces. Like knitting, crocheting, and even quilting, we can create small pieces that can be made on-the-go, and then assembled into finished blankets or garments. Using small looms, students will learn how to weave small "motifs" that can be sewn or crocheted or knitted together into larger finished projects.

Supply fee- $25, includes handout, use of small looms, warp yarns, and weft yarns. Other supplies needed for class to work projects.

Students should bring- tapestry needs, scissors, measuring tape.
