Crocheting a Baby (or not) Afghan with Your Handspun

You want to make an afghan, and you want to use your handspun, but none of the patterns in the books use quite the yarn you have created. Let's look at your handspun and learn about designing an afghan with your yarn. In other classes you can learn how to actually spin the yarn to fit your needs, but what about all that yarn you created before you take that class? Learn about how hook size, gauge and pattern can be combined to create wonderful, unique and beautiful blankets from a yarn stash that never seems to match the requirements of a printed pattern. Use patterns as inspiration, but learn to work beyond that printed word. Basic knowledge of crochet stitches helpful.
