Not Your Grandmother's Granny Squares
Let's make motifs! Learn the basic
granny along with several variations that will spice up your crocheting. Learn different ways to join the motifs, and begin planning projects that will keep you busy all year round. You will move beyond blankets and see the possibilities of this versatile stitch. Handout $5.00. Students should bring: variety of crochet hooks and knitting needles, yarns of different colors and sizes, tapestry needle, scissors and ruler or tape measure as well as other tools you might need for your work, pen/pencil for note taking.
Advanced Beg to intermediate - students should know how to ch, sc, dc, join and know the basics of reading a pattern. 15 people
Classroom set up with tables and chairs, display table for instructor and plenty of room for teacher to move among the students. Electrical outlets for computer.
